In summary, anyone who keeps witnessing indubitable harmful acts from an undeniably pathological person who still manages to justify them or their acts, is a flying monkey.
Because of the tendency of flying monkeys to easily incline towards disordered or pathological persons, flying monkeys can not be considered in isolation. If you see a flying monkey, a pathological person would always be nearby.

The flying monkey not only help the evil narcissistic person but also encourages him in a indirect way to inflict more punishment and devastation to the victim.

The victim is already in a tormented state and had suffered lots of mental and physical torture and exploitation as well, the gravitation of flying monkey towards the narcissist increase the magnitude of the pain caused. The narcissist gets encouragement and appreciation from the flying monkey. His acts fuel the already occurred fire and results in various forms of abuse for the victim.

In most of the cases, the  flying monkey causes more trauma and suffering for the victim. In the want of validation and a support from others, sometimes the victims give up the fight and he has to succumb to his sufferings, mental and physical torture.
